I’m Benjamin Loubet,
I studied Philosophy and English Language and Literature in Switzerland and graduated from a master’s degree in teaching English at the University of Nantes (France).
I worked in France for 3 years as a licensed English teacher in middle and high schools;
and I also worked as a philosophy teacher for one year.
Upon moving to Japan, I discovered a new age group at Smile Club
and I love teaching there because of the multicultural work environment
and because the tasks at hand are very diverse.
On my free time, I love to read books and do some programming on my computer or play some games.
I also love to go out and discover new places and faces.
I feel it’s important to be open to other cultures and to be able to use English as a tool to understand others;
and Smile Club allows me to give this ability to children in lots of ways!
